M HILL ULTRA
The M Hill Ultra is a 6, 12, & 24-hour timed looped race on M Hill within the city limits of Rapid City in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Competitors will challenge one another and themselves to go as far as they can on a 3.8 mile loop within the allotted time. All entrants will receive custom race shirt and finisher awards.
Each loop will have approximately 525 feet of elevation gain/loss. We will alternate loop directions every 3 hours.
There will be an aid station at the base of M Hill where you can re-supply each loop. You may also leave a drop bag and/or a small cooler with personal food & drink near the aid station.
Initial cost is $45 for the 6-hour, $55 for the 12-hour, and $65 for the 24-hour with $10 price increases on May 1st & July 1st. We want this race to be fun & affordable! The top female & male who cover the most ground throughout the entire event will each win a special award.
Our goal is to grow this into an event that can help raise funds for the Hanson-Larson Memorial Park so that organization can encourage outdoor activities in the greater Black Hills region.
